The case study focuses on Inclusionem's collaboration with DHL Global Forwarding, Middle East and Africa for the "The Future Ready Project," as part of their inclusion and diversity (I&D) program. The goal was to create a platform to share the stories of DGF MEA's employees, highlighting their journeys and demonstrating DHL's commitment to being future-ready.
Background
DGF MEA is a division of DHL, a global logistics company. Recognizing the significance of I&D, DHL aimed to showcase their employees' diverse experiences and backgrounds to foster a culture of inclusivity and attract new talent. Inclusionem was approached to create a storytelling platform.
Objectives
The objectives of the project were:
Highlight the personal and professional journeys of DGF MEA employees.
Showcase the diversity within DGF MEA and emphasize DHL's commitment to being future-ready.
Inspire and motivate both current and potential employees by sharing stories of hard work, perseverance, and success.
Strategies and Initiatives
Inclusionem devised a series of videos capturing the personal and professional stories of DGF MEA employees. The videos were complemented by written versions of each story and Social Media templates with impactful quotes. Additionally, Inclusionem provided a "How To Post" document to help employees share the stories on their personal social media platforms.
Challenges and Solutions
Challenges faced during the project included obtaining employee participation and ensuring authentic representation. To overcome these, Inclusionem adopted the following strategies:
